Three House Pictures

October 26, 2006

A picture of the Taj Mahouse from the front.  Most of the leaves are gone, though some color remains.

Radiant heating lines are installed in the floor of the Garage Mahal.  The lines were not run where footings for a future hoist are located so that I won't run the risk of piercing a line when I drive in the anchors for the hoist.  I am not sure, but I think the purpose of the wire grid is to hold the tubing in place while the concrete is poured, though it may also act as a heat conductor to more evenly heat the floor.

This picture shows the aluminized backing of the insulating material installed under the radiant heat system.  Without this insulation most of the heat would be lost in the ground.  The garage floor of Man's World  should be poured tomorrow.
